not all deville’s have the bose, i have a 94 deville base model and it has
no bose system. for my subs i used a line out converter, so i still have my
factory radio/tape/cd saves alot of time and money.
If u have the bose system the tuner is on the right hand side of the trunk,
pull 3 harnesses from it and plug it and snap them into the above
connector. Youll then need to run those wires (including antenna wire) from
that 20ft harness of wire that are shown in the video up to the front to
the stereo.
Once u get up front to the stereo you have to connect the wires to your new
stereo with another harness clip that u can buy from a local audio shop,
unless the above harness came double sided
I ended up taking the side panel of the trunk, and removing the entire
“brain box” its by the antenna, the plugs fit, just in odd ways… It took
me a while to get them in the right order. but it worked. I promise.
that harness you have connects at the back of the stereo head unit,and
after the amp that module you seen is the crapper active Equilizer you’ll
notice your bass sounds like its there but no punch in it,because the EQ.
lowers the bass as you turn the volume louder,i have a95 concours deville
and i simply used the power grnd. and antenna trigger as for speakers i ran
all new wire red for front blue for rear and a new amp and wire
supply,,,hope this helps
Could u tell me any more about the install because I have the exact same
car and install kit what was the deal with the two wires underneath u said
had no place in the harness

if its not a bose system its the “Active audio system”. its different from
the bose, its an 11 speaker system

If u do not have this other side to your 20ft harness u can strip and crimp
but. Also connect antenna adapter to the back of new stereo.

How did you connect the wires to the speakers? I have the same harness but
I don’t know how to connect them :/
