Did you need the bypass harness that runs from the back of the trunk to the front of the car? And would the scosche connector work also as the connector you used on the car? I have that same radio exactly

The antenna cable connector can be bent back straight. It is only bent at a 90* angle.

I have a 99 Deville and when I went to go get my aftermarket stereo installed they said that they would have to move the stock deck to the trunk. Am I missing something or are they just trying to gouge me for unnecessary work?
