Ooh, fancy….. I like that part. Looks well engineered.
I bought a a c d e l c o (large print on the box) starter , for a toyota about a month ago , also printed on the box – made in china , just so you know ……….After I packed all the bearings and gear reduction it may last a while ……..I sealed off the 2 solenoid mounting prongs inside the gear reduction . with ultra silicone . The gear reduction housing seam has no gasket or sealer , I use sealer on the seam to keep water out of the gear reduction , the reason I mentioned this is – its made just like a harley starter .
