@Taamir1990 I usually take them out from the bottom which means you need
something to support the engine. An engine hoist will work but I use a bar
that sits on the channel of the fenders and chains to the engine and holds
it up. If you had a sturdy enough board you could do the same thing.
mine i ask this honest question why did you bother taking on this job for a
Buick
PB blaster works great for all rusted parts……..wd40 is worthless, and
liquid wrench seems diluted anymore.
what are u doin with the motor and tranny?
is the buick your fixing going to be your daily driver?
yeah i hear that i drive 90 miles round trip everyday to work and back im
glad i got my trusty ranger
if ur still strippping th e subframe of ruust, could u show us how?lol so
one day i can take the rust off mine someday
what a job
seem like some serious over kill to change a couple bushings.
its somewhat difficult, ive done ones that were worse, but all FWD trannys
suck to change
im not going to strip off the rust, takes too long, im just gonna clean out
the dirt and slobber oil all over it. If i was gonna take the rust off id
take a wire wheel on a drill or angle grinder to get the rust off.
is it hard to change the trannys in these cars?
you’ll be glad to get your lesabre fixed soon.
What’s the best way to get the rear subframe to frame insulaters out, and
still be able to use them???
i need some help i have a 95 buick lesabre and i need to take out the
transmission i dont have money for a shop mechanic to take it out i have a
slight mechanic ability so how do i get this dam thing out and do i need a
engine hoist or can i use a block of wood ?
@o000oo0oo000o because I was too cheap to buy another car
just storing them for now, im sure ill need tbem somtime in the future
yeah, ive got to put this subframe in my 93 lesabre so i dont kill myself
when i drive down the freeway
