I vote for Toyota prius. It looks like a lunchbox, handels like a tractor,
sounds like a vacuum cleaner, costs as much as a Mercedes, has the gas
mileage of a Volvo estate car and it comes from a manufacturer that should
have known better.
I want to nominate the Kia Rio. Specifically: 2002 base model. I’ve
driven one for 12 years (not by choice). I hate it.

Worst car had to be from USA. It just had to be.
The SC430 from Lexus is it in this D…V…D or Blue…RAY.
But for me its the Audi TT. No proper Sportscar at all, under the bonnet
small farting Turboengines with less capacity than my vacuumcleaner and
under the sheet its only a Golf with fwd. The awd makes it a bit better…

Americans pay half what the English pay for the same car and Fuel OMG
for a car with 130 ps in England you can but a car with 300 ps so in

The worst cars I’ve ever driven have been rentals:
– 2002 Ford Crown Victoria
– 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser
– 2011 Ford Fiesta
– 2003 Chevrolet Impala
– 1999 Pontiac Grand Am
– 2000 Mercury Sable
Not hating on any brands here, but god damn America *used* to make some
horrible cars not too long ago.

As for what I perceive to be the worst cars today (never sat in):
– Anything made by a mainland Chinese, Russian, or Indian brand. This is
referring to their domestic cars like Lada, Chery, Tata, etc. Foreign
brands manufactured in those countries have much higher standards, e.g.
VW/Audi in China or the Indian CKD assembly for BMWs.
Pretty sure Chrysler Neon takes the cake in this one.

The worst ever is first 2 generations of Hyundai Accent.
What Top Gear really needs more of is footage of a drifting car that
suddenly goes into slow motion and then suddenly comes out of it again. I
mean, once there was almost 3 minutes in between instances of it happening.
My favorite car is the Pontiac Aztek. I have a couple diecast models of
it.
