The last repair made this rebuild worse than the accident. Fixing a hacked up Buick Regal

This 2011 Buick Regal T-type was hit down the side. The owner purchased it from the auction and replaced the left doors, fender and left front suspension. When he could not get his parts to fit properly he took it to some shops for them to straighten it out. Nobody wanted any part of it until he found a guy that was willing to do it cheap. Well, sometimes you get what you paid for. Now I have taken on fixing the accident damage as well as the damage from the “repair.” This car came to me from Houston TX. Not sure why, he literally passed hundreds of shops on the way to me. Well it is my problem now so let’s straighten it out.

Some guys won't take 5 min to alone panels right

Steve Gerhart says:

Great example of what’s involved in a proper repair. Customers don’t realize how intensive a seemingly minor repair can entail. All they hear is the cost. The person who attempted this repair previously should go to jail for theft.

✅. Thanks for posting

To be honest, and why shouldn’t I be, after watching several of your videos, I was kind of anointed the way you were throwing parts around your workshop. But after viewed this video I’ve come to appreciate the way you accomplish things and explain the whole process. I must admit that I’m not an expert, but must compliment you on this job.

Stay safe, be humble and be blessed

So the "kind of time pressure" came from the fact that most likely the owner was waiting on site for the job to be finished. Anyway: this was a true repair.

As soon as you offered the door up it was lined up. Great work

I wish people who do work like the first guy did, would just stay home and not come out into public. They're of no value to the world and actually make things worse.

Thanks for the information, Best..

What an honest guy that does things right…to make sure the owner was OK with a patch, then it was his choice. I agree the way you pached that hole was perfectly excitable

I watched this for the 4th time. I still admire your work and how you get it back to what it should be even though it was too expensive to go factory. Awesome work, Scott

Jon Bruce says:

Impressive skills. Not many people can do this nor have the appreciation for those that do.
