DBridge says:

a buick has a rev limiter at a max of 4000 rpm never goes past that! some
of then have a rev limiter to 3500 rpm never 4500 though! is it goes past
4000 rpm it increases the chances of blowing your engine… if you go past
5000 rpm on rev your goin to blow your engine! when you put seafoam in your
car your surpose to rev it to full rev for about a half minute to a minute
then let it idle then you rev it to 2500 rpm-3000 rpm till the smoke goes
away!

Evan Berwick says:

this stuffs great, i used it on a tecumseh 5HP horizontal and its running
like new. i’ll be using it again tomorrow on my 34 year old briggs that
hasn’t been run for a year on my gillette 4250 watt alternator.

DBridge says:

why is it always nerds driving granny/grandpa cars?

Evan Berwick says:

worry about your engine i’ll worry about mine. it has a 4500 rpm rev
limiter for a reason, and yes, you’re actually supposed to hold it at a
2-3K rpm idle when you introduce the seafoam into the booster line, and i
like to do it afterwards too to get fresh gas through everything and burn
the carbon deposits up. i’ve maintained 5 car engines, 2 bikes, 5 small
engines and they’re all running great, including my 43 year old ford 390
that i did this exact same thing to.
