Yep, all X-Bodies are front wheel drive. This Skylark has the 2.5l Iron
Duke 4 cylinder. The engine never missed a beat for the year or so I owned
it. Other parts of the car had issues, but the engine was perfectly
reliable. A well maintained Iron Duke will run just about forever, but
don’t expect it to get anywhere fast!

drive it – they’d just hate it, but I think its great. I’ll have to make a

Did the 85 only come in a 4 cylinder? My aunt had the 85 and it was tough
to keep the tailights in tact because in Brooklyn NY everybody bumps you
when you try to pararrel park.

X-bodies were offered with the Iron Duke or the 2.8 V6, I don’t think there
were any other engine options.

looks way better. i didnt even notice the other taillight untill i saw how
faded the back up light window was.
