Thanks for the video. Just one tip, you don’t need an external battery to cause the motor to move. Just hook back up the switch on a temporary basis and adjust the widow slide as needed to give you access to the bolts. On mine, I had to turn the power back on with the key. Just make sure you remove power after you have made your adjustments to keep things safe.
Thank you, thank you! I was halfway into taking the door off, and couldn’t figure out how to get some of the electrical connections off. Saved $300 fixing my 01 Regal! Wish I’d seen this before the other 3 windows went out!
Hardest part was removing the electrical connector to the motor itself. I eventually cut the plastic with a pair of wire cutters, since the old regulator/motor was bad. Not sure why it wouldn’t come out.
