If I saw someone jack their motor up and the exhaust MOVED I would slap
them so hard they’d wish I didn’t slap ’em so hard LoL… (but other than
that good job) The wood should be about as thick as the first joint of your
thumb so it has room for the jacks “teeth” to sink in

I replaced the MM’s on my ’67 mustang once, I used wood blocks, after I got
the second mount unbolted the straight 6 started to fall over off the
blocks! I had to hold the engine up while putting the new mount on and
tighten it down with one hand LOL. Preetty scary moment.
