We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair with a supercharger equipped vehicle. You might be able to use most of the same tools. Some of the steps may be different though. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
how to remove transmission lines from radiator on 1999 BUICK REGAL LS ( no supercharge ) do i need special tools or just a wrench ??
If the fluid is old, you may want to drain it out of the radiator and flush the system while you’re at it. You could just pull the petcock on the bottom of the radiator. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Thank you.
Do you know a shortcut to draining the cooling system to do the heater core on a 1999 Grand prix GT?
Can’t I just pinch off the hoses from the outside?
Here’s a link to the lower hose shown in the video on our website. Hope this helps.

Newer cars are designed to bleed automatically, Drive the vehicle and check the tank often for the first 100 miles or so. At 128K, if it has the original hoses then replacing the hoses is good preventative maintenance. Check your hoses every 25K and Replace at 100K even if they don’t look bad.
What about bleeding air out of the system? My regal has 128k and the hoses feel a little soft. When do you think I should change them?
