I have a 2001 Buick Regal Century. The lights are only working in brights
but you have to keep the lever back and if you don’t the lights turn off. I
really need help with this don’t know whats going on and need the car for
work.

Anthony Rowe says:

i understand how to remove the headlamp housing unit, but how do you
replace the blub inside the socket, the replacement blubs are separate from
the socket

Anthony Rowe says:

Ok ,video is good ,but how do you get used blub out of socket ?

1A Auto Parts says:

@xKerdzx You should be able to pull up on the two tabs that hold the
headlight in, and then remove the tabs. The headlight should then slide
right out as shown in the video.

hanksaccount says:

Super informative and easy to do thank you for showing me how.

Austin bieber says:

i have a 96 buick regal and i was wondering how to change the headlights.
if have any tips

pioneer7777777 says:

Thank you 1A; I have replaced the turn signal bulb (the culprit) twice in a
two-week span with both bulbs lasting only a few days. I’m wondering if it
could be a wiring issue? Since the front signal is quite important, I was
considering buying an entire new headlight assembly, would that help?
Thanks in advance.

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the bulb socket to see if it’s corroded on the
inside, which could cause an issue like this.

pioneer7777777 says:

Quick question – I’ve got a turn signal socket that keeps eating through
bulbs – any recommendations on how to fix this? There is some condensation
inside, but all the other lights work just fine in the assembly. Do I need
to buy a whole new assembly, or is there something that should be done with
the wiring?

Shawn Horelica says:

I have a 97 park avenue and don’t see any clips like on the century. How do
i change it?

Austin bieber says:

Thank you

Thomas Genzardi says:

Cool thanks. That helps!

tone loc says:

you should make a fog light video

Kim Shoemaker says:

Does a fluted headlamp assembly be replaced with a non-fluted headlamp
assembly for a 2000 Buick LeSabre?

1A Auto Parts says:

You can remove the headlight as shown in the video, then remove the black
cap that covers the bulbs. You can then access the headlight bulb to change
it.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have a headlight auto repair video that shows this
particular repair on a 96 Buick Regal. If you open the hood, there may be a
couple of slides that you need to lift up on to remove them (like we show
in this video), or there may be a couple of bolts that hold them in place
on the backside of the light. Hope this helps you out.

TheNakster55 says:

Is this the same for a 1995 Buick Regal

1A Auto Parts says:

@guralp08 Yes the limited style headlights will fit a base car and
vice-versa.

1A Auto Parts says:

@shawnh2004 Currently we do not have an auto repair video that shows you
how to remove the headlights on a 97 Park Ave.
