forward to paying to get the dent out i am going to do exactly what you
did. THank you so much.

Cody Castro says:

Good job. Save you at less $500 if you couldn’t do the work.

junglist1soldier says:

This video is so annoying because he takes too long to get behind the dent,
that it cools off, by the time he starts to try n pop it out.

T Raza says:

Bro……Thanks for sharing this great video…..I just fixed my front
bumper cover after watching your video…

Rob B. says:

Does this work on a fender?

MrJanXXV says:

thanks dude,,,this is exactly what i needed to see. A lady hit my parked
car last week and the insurance is going to pay but its a small dent so I
could do this myself and save the money! The dent is almost in the same
spot as your was, same car except its a SE so it has the lower body
kit—my only questions are where do you buy a heat gun(Lowes, Home Depot?)
and how much do they cost?

c370872 says:

What’s wrong w/ you, the guy took the effort to video and helped
others..not funny dude!

MechanicDan1 says:

glad it worked out for you!

AmericanEagleOutfitr says:

Great work on this man u cant even tell if it had a dent seriously great
job thinkin about doing mine but would hate to have to try nd push it out
from under

MechanicDan1 says:

thanks man! its not to hard to get the screwdriver back behind it as long
as its not too big and you have the plastic skid plate removed. it is kind
of a weird angle and obviously would be better if it was on a lift or
something but its not all that hard

Kevin McKinley says:

Nice job, A heat gun works, but ive found the heat is a bit to direct, if
you have access to a nice heat lamp set that up approx 12in from the dmg
panel, this heat is more spread and allows the entire dent to be fixed with
more ease. Apex Paintless Dent Repair in Reno Nevada could do a similar
repair

I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu, some dip side swiped me, bumper cover dented
bad, but my bro was able to pop it out, and it left a small dent. I will
have him try this tomorrow, sucks i already bought a new bumper cover…
any ideas how to seal the paint? there were some cracks in the paint but
after poping it out they disappeared.

dannygonzales69 says:

Melkor Darthexes says:

Watched your vid and had a go at myself.. my paint was already cracked
being an older car so took the bumper completely off and heat gun worked a
charm! thanks for inspiration ;o)

Adam Kwok says:

which toyota model and year is this?

MechanicDan1 says:

id probably use some touch up paint where the cracks were just to make sure
no water can get it. other than that your guess is as good as mine
