This is what I did to change these spring by myself.(I recomment getting another person to help)
(2001 – 2006 Pontiac Aztek) and (2002 – 2007 Buick Rendezvous) will be the same doing this job… Can maybe also apply to other vehicles…

….I've been looking at several video's on Rendezvous, it appears that they have problems with the rear springs breaking. Why is this happening? I can understand the upper bushing joint on the upper A-arm going bad prematurely. What I don't understand as to why the rear springs would fail. Did you buy stronger springs? Thanks.

3:24 …at the Top of the Right sub-frame (K Crossmember), you see a large bolt which faces down, it's just shy of the rear bolt of the rear joint, on the lower A-arm. It looks like it's a either a Hex or a Torx bolt, do you know what it is for? You can feel it, by rubbing you hand underneath the subframe, that's how I came across it. There's one on each side of the subframe, but only in the rear I think.
At 4:01, your thumb almost touches that bolt, the one I'm talking about.
Thanks for your input and video. There's nothing on YouTube about the GM's rear aluminum subframe, it's used in like 5 or 6 vehicles, between 1999 and 2007, I think.
I have a banging noise in the right rear every time i hit a bump what could it be
If you adapt rear Dodge Durango, Twin Tube struts on a Rendezvous. They handle like a race car, and bumps, potholes, railroad tracks, you won't feel them. Top needs spacers, bottom hole too small. But once you feel the difference, you won't go back. Nothing will beat that suspension, no 2020 year vehicle. Not anything ever invented. Worth it, cheapest modification for highest reward.
Great video!
