To sand a car for paint u start at 220 work ur way up to 600 then at 600 u primer then 600 again then u paint if u also sand dry it takes more paint off
U should Wett sand its much easier better outcome
And when u Wett sand a car to buff u don’t do it dry only Wett sanding and who ever painted a car and don’t take the paint down with 220 to get a good grip it won’t stick well and
