@Brigg.. im having the same plroblem 2007 buick lucerne.. amp is killing my
bat.. no matter what fuse remote wire hooked to.
Can you do a video strictly on how to do the LOC..
I’m installing a sub and amp in my 2012 Buick regal gs using the factory
headunit. I do not have the panel in the trunk for power but I have ran my
power cord from the battery already. I am grounded to the frame in the
trunk. I have everything done except my remote wire…..every fuse in the
fuse box seems to be constant power as my amp stays on when connected to
any fuse! Any suggestions on what may be the problem or where I can get a
good remote source that’s not going to be constant?
Usually the cigarette lighter fuse or a power socket fuse turn off when the
car is off. Remember that some cars keep the power on especially for power
windows until you open the door or press the door lock button on your key
fob. #buick #carstereo #buickregal
thanks helps alot/ i just installed 6 -61/2″ infinity reference speakers in
my factory cadillac system,I know the caddi came with 95 speakers Delco
high clarity ,BIG Tweeters to me LOL! ,but I separated just the tweeter
wire on the coaxals and ran them as components so the data line ,to the
computer can read them correctly /anyways I have 4 fuse boxes and ones in
the trunk to hook up my subs,?thanks again.
Check out my video called “How To Install Amp & Subwoofer in Any Car” it
shows a more detailed view of how to connect the LOC. In your case you will
need additional speaker wire to run from your rear doors, through the rear
door hinge area, then through the carpeting and back through to the rear
trunk area. Then you’ll follow the procedure just like in the video. LOC’s
are really simple to connect, you simply connect the negative and positive
from your speakers to the matching wires on the LOC.
can u make a video on how to connect the loc, step by step if the rear
speakers r on the door ty in,advance n I enjoy all ur videos
