i know that the wire going to the fuse block was lose, so right after i
made sure that all the bolts were tight. I even looked in my buick handbook
and found out that that yes it does have to do with my key if u saw that
black little box on it with a silver metal sliver out of it. the book said
that its a security key if anyone tried to alter the ignition u could turn
on the ACC but it wont turn over(RUN). and i already checked that because
it was something that i was worried about.

Mike Whitenton says:

2 quick things. Your wire that you said went to the fuse block is lose. The
stock alternator wire most likely has another wire attached to it. My guess
is you disconnected the starter power wire and that is why it wouldn’t
start. It has nothing to do with the key. Trace the starter power wire and
you will see why it wouldn’t start. Also the old battery terminal end for
the + most likely still has power going to it. Try connecting a test light
to it and chassis ground. I’d bet it still lights.
