Yeah…that interior has some really high-quality plastic…not. I officially despise GM now.
I have now Lon. I hate doing stuff like this. It’s completely stupid to have to repair a climate control panel. At least this will help out other people having the same thing going on.

Similar resistors solder joints fail on the 96 Impala SS odometer circuit which makes it fade out. Good ole GM quality.
