Michael Sharp says:

Is this the same procedure as the 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix?

David Kermott says:

I was scraping the ice off my 2003 Buick century but must have left my wipers on. Once I freed the drivers side blade it started moving. Now my passenger side doesn't move but drivers side does. I'm assuming I'll have to replace that same piece. Thanks for the video!

Ceed 3D says:

Big ups!! Been looking for this video to FIX my wipers and change cabin filter. Long overdue

BassManBobBassCovers says:

I found the trick to removing the transmission is to separate the arm that connects to the rotating piece on the wiper motor. Just a plastic plug style clip makes it super easy. Finally fixed mine I had no wipers at all lol.

Slightly Twisted says:

If you buy new it doesn't come that way so this video would only apply to people who went to the wracking yard

Zachary Merritt says:

I have just bought a used one and I had to replace this as well (thanks for the video btw) but like yours mine when coming out of the park position and going back down it looks like it get hung up on something or like stutter not sure how to describe it (12:50) and I just want to know if that is suppose to be like that or is something else messed up with it?

Daniel Burke says:

My job’s not done, but removed the Tran & motor on a 2003 Buick Century. One caveat, my motor died before it was in park position. This means that the arms were farther apart than as in video. Basically impossible to remove. But the back arm end near the motor is easy to remove with (2) 10mm screws. Then it swings lower and can remove whole assembly. Might be easier for all removals, fyi. Thanks will prob just replace motor – great video!

David Garcia says:

How much does this repair cost?

David M Taylor says:

Good video. Good instructions. Had mine apart a few times, but would have been easier if I had watched your video first.

Tyrone T Washington says:

Do you have a part# for the cabin air filter or do I just buy one for a Buick Regal? I have a 2002 Pontiac GT.

komahoby says:

Is that wiper motor failure a common thing on these regals? I've never had any issues with mine, however i keep a spare motor just in case.

Cars Simplified says:

Between doing the job yourself and getting a junkyard part, there is a ton of money to be saved here! Nicely filmed and fixed!

I would have really had to resist the urge to clean the glass that was exposed here but typically never seen because it's under the cowl trim panels. Ew!

Stephen David Bailey says:

That right side deflector rubber strip is really important. If it's detached, you will have a lake in the passenger footwell. Most enjoyable presentation. Top marks!

Michigan Sound Wizard says:

That filter shocked me…wow. Overall, good project.
