**UPDATED PROCESS**

Important note – Make sure to watch the section about the driver’s side install. It is VERY VERY easy to snap off a resister while you install, which will cause the board to fail. Be very careful when inserting the driver’s side assembly and don’t make the mistake I did on my first attempt.

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL reinstalling the driver’s side assembly, as it is spectacularly easy to scrape off the resister. It may also be possible that using the 3M tape pushes the board slightly closer, making it more vulnerable to be scraped off. If so, then use thermal glue to reduce the slight thickness of the tape during the install. The OEM board does not have any exposed resistors in that position, so are not as vulnerable.
