Thanks a ton for posting this video. Do you know if the door panel needs to come off for F30 (2012 335i)?

Tim Freeman says:

My 2010 E70 X5 had exactly the same problem. I just got the part, followed this video and changed mine. Easy as pie! Thanks very much.
NB. I have a RHD (Australian) car. The part number for the front passenger door (on the LHS) is #

Good job. Thanks for the part number 51416969402 Black for my X5M .
You would think for the money these vehicles cost BMW would use higher quality materials. They really messed up on the X5 series. I just had to replace 6 parts under the hood that crumbled and fell apart (51717169420; 51717169419; 51717169421; 64-31-6-945-583; 64-31-6-945-584; 51-23-7-161-345). When you mention this to BMW, they don't give a damn. When you search online, you will notice thousands of these engine and door parts being ordered; sounds like a materials quality control issue. I never had an issue with my 07 M6.

Thanks for the video bro. My wife's 2011 X5 has this problem too and it's nasty as f*ck! Cheers!

Can you tell me where you bought the inner door handle part?

Eric Garr says:

does this part work on the front and back? ECS says this part is for the back but it looks like you are putting it on the front.

Eric Rodriguez says:

Does this apply to a e92 328i 2008 Bmw coupe ???
