@taurus26m That is the magic of editing. Ours did not come out easily
either. Whatever you do to get it out, whether prying it or beating on it,
just be sure you do not damage the mating surface on the engine block.
The author and you missed the fact that there are two threaded holes on
either side of the water pump. That is to put two threaded “jacking” bolts
in and you simply jack out the water pump in 1 minute.
