Will this cause any over heat and burn out the bulb since the cover for the AE has to be put back on? I tested without the cover and the heatsink of the AEs are very hot. I am afraid it will melt the plastic housing and burn out the bulbs. Please somebody tell me they won’t cause problems: comeandgetu@erols.com

Thank you.
Took a second look and yes it was indeed very easy to replace it with the led bulbs.
Keep up the good videos!

Tony Anthony says:

Really good video; you make it seem so easy. Would the install be the same on an 2005 545?

hi , I have a question. I installed angel lights on my car but the problem I have now is that my low beam light don’t match with the angel eyes, they are halogen bulb. in Canada you have to have it on so I cant turn off the low beam light. I do have xenon lights for the night, but the low beam s don’t match the angel eyes. what can I do for this problem?

C J Pannu says:

Nice video thanks

What about X5 E70, how can I change the Angel eyes?

Sadiqur Rahman says:

You couldve just removed the square panel instead of taking out the whole fender

etissite says:

sedan. xenon

BavarianAuto says:

Is your 2008 a sedan or coupe? Does it have Halogen or Xenon headlights?

etissite says:

so the 2008 model, would I have to do it this way as you show??

adilakram67 says:

ALSO PLEASE DO A VIDEO FOR THE FACELIFT E90!!!!!!!!!

adilakram67 says:

what’s the process for the 2009 facelift with standard halogen bulbs with angel eye?

BavarianAuto says:

The later model E90 sedans are accessed from above.
We do not have a video for the late E90 models (3-series sedan 09-12). If you’d like to email us at info@bavauto , we can send you the written instructions, from the manufacturer.

s2050hacker says:

Hi great video. But i was wondering if its the same process for the 318i 2010 model or is it different?

George Cochrane says:

Thanks for the reply…do you have a DIY video for the 2009-2012 sedan models? Thanks again!

BavarianAuto says:

With our LED conversion bulb kits, you will not have to cut or change your original connectors. The install is different on the 2009-12 sedan models. You do not need to install from under the car, as shown in this video

George Cochrane says:

Hi,
Great video! I have a 2010 328xi sedan with halogen headlights. I’d like to upgrade as well and was wondering whether the installation process is the same as the video above. Also, I ordered led lights from another site a while back and may have to return them because the electrical contacts are vertical and the ones on the oem lights are horizontal so they won’t plug. If I use those lights, I will have to cut the wire and krimp on a wire connector. Will that work or cause a problem?

BavarianAuto says:

Yes, we can ship via US Mail to the UK. You can either contact us via email at info@bavauto.com or call our advisors at 1-603-427-2002.

juvenil6969 says:

You sir are a legend. Do you post to the UK?

BavarianAuto says:

The E92 coupe has access from under the hood, for the Angel Eye bulbs. We have a DIY on this, on our Tech Blog. The DIY was done with a different LED bulb kit, so disregard the extra wiring and how the bulbs look different. Just pay attention to the access steps. Go to: blog.bavauto.com and search “E92 LED Angel Eye”.

juvenil6969 says:

Hi great video. Is this the same process for an ’07 325 coupe? Or can you access the bulbs from under the hood? Thanks (UK fan)

The LED halo cause light error code?

BavarianAuto says:

That bulb mounting bracket is not available separately …. it is only part of the complete headlight assembly.

Dave Dat says:

Do you know the part# for the black mounting bracket @ 6:40. I am missing one. Please help!!! I tried realoem and can’t find that part. 🙁

Raksasok Heng says:

BavarianAuto says:
