my understanding is that the left front abs sensors is connected with the
tranny which when goes bad would put the car in limp mode and the left rear
sensor controls the speedomter

hey man ive been seeing your videos and there great! i have an issue my bmw
e39 528i , when i drive the ABS and asc lights go on (not the brake light)
and when this happens my speedometter stops working, it just shuts down
also my MPG and MPH doesnt seem to be acurate on the dash can you please
help

That’s your break sensor.
I replaced my back one and my speedometer still doesn’t work u think if I
replaced both it might work

start with the least expensive fix and work your way up. Clean the throttle
and idle control valve. Spray clean without removing . If that doesn’t cure
the problem then remove and clean thoroughly front and back of each. Also
check for any air leaks, most of these air hoses get brittle and crack.

Hey quick question I have a 2004 745li the car driving me nut I have a
bunch of lights showing on my dashboard : parking brake fault, abs light,
brake light, dynamic drive inactive, somebody told me it was the battery I
bought a brand new battery they told its the brake I changed them still
give me the warning light. Any idea
i replaced all 4 speed sencores n my speedometer still dont work , i took
it to couple shops they told me change the tranny sencore n i changed that
too still dont work what do i have to do to to make it work could u please

housing? It has the yellow wire coming out of it.
Hello, My 528i 2000 BMW started doing some up & down or like (breathing)
noise on the engine, the 1/min x1000 meter moves up and down. Also the MPG
meter stopped moving… Any clues on what that might be? Thanks!
