Thanks for the vid. The hardest part was removing the wiper blades as they
didn’t simply wiggle off. Screwdriver prying worked on the center blade,
but the piece popped and rolled into the motor tray. Rescued the piece.
The 2nd wiper blade wouldn’t respond to prying, so I cut off the cowling.
When removed, I noticed slight gap in the wiper blade fitting and twisted
a wide flat-bladed screwdriver to drive up the blade.
Pushing the cowling inserts wasn’t as smooth as the video, either. I
needed to apply major pressure to each point after ensuring the insert was
really in the insert’s socket.
Also, I think it would have been easier to remount the weather stripping on
the new cowling before insertion. My weather-stripping appeared to be a
tad short, so it makes more sense to center-align than to edge-align.
