One pair of bulbs is enough for both headlights. One bulb lights up two
rings on each side. The outer ring will not be as bright as the inner ring
due to the design of the angel eyes on the headlight.
So when I buy a pair of bulbs, each bulb illuminates both angel eyes on
that one side? or do I have to purchase two pair? I saw that the inner
angel eye was lit red but the outer had a glare.
I have the same exact problem. How did you get it off? The black cap over
the angle eye bulb is stuck and I can’t take it off.

i have a ’06 330i E90. i took the back off and got all the way to the black
cover, over the angel eye bulb, as seen on 6:18. How did you get it off?

what are the list of tools you need for this?
I didn’t need to jack the car up or undo the wheel wells. Just a torx, a
long skinny flat screwdriver less than 7″ long, and a mirror. You can pop
the cover using the flat screwdriver just by feel and ditto undoing the
torx. Driver side you need to pop up the airbox a bit. Just undo the 2
screws holding down the air box. Yes you will be working pretty much
blindfolded but it’s not that hard after studying where things are with a
small mirror and an LED flashlight.
How come it’s only projecting off of the smaller halo and not both of them?

what exact tools do i need beside the bulbs and the jack/key
you can just do that without having to remove the wheels since it’s a
pre-LCi model. Practically do it from the engine bay
i have the same car. what type of angel eyes do i order and where can i
order them from?
