In this video, we’ll show you how to install a Dinan Performance Chip in a typical BMW engine management computer, or Engine Control Unit (ECU). This install will be in a 1990 BMW 325i. Other models will have various differences, but the basic install is similar.

When I replaced eproms, "chips" in BMW's as a factory upgrade we had to use a static mat along with a ground strap on one wrist, some even stood on a static mat, the chip came in a anti-static bag so why not now?
Should've wore gloves buddy. The oils from your fingers affect electronic chips.
Can you remap this chip? Or only as it is?
