This pornography is not worth saving 10 bucks.

I don’t know….Over time this screws in contact with the bulb socket might
just damage it. I have a friend who managed to place the adjusters without
opening the headlights. Just by turning the headlight he was able to place
them correctly. But this would only work with heavy adjusters like the
aluminium ones. The plastic ones would be too light to put pressure over
the holder screw.

marimarcus says:

Yes, but you must damage the Headlight Glas, because is not possible to
dismantle E39 2003 Headlights. They are another as in 2001.

I have good news!! I managed to open my headlight and replace the
adjusters. I used a heat gun to melt the glue that these headlights come
with. I was lucky to have this headlight with this kind o glue/resin as I
heard 50% of the headlights come with an unbreakable seal.

raulassis1 says:

I can’t find anywhere the aluminium adjusters. I need one set of adjusters
for my left hedlight. Also, your headlights are glued with Epoxy, so no
oven will soften the glue enough to allow the headlight to be opened. I
will try to put some stuff (folded paper) around the beam socket fo my
hedlight to hold it in place.

I believe there is something I didn’t mention in the video, I pushed the
projector all the way down and then secured it with the screws and the beam
level was great. But if the beam level happened to be higher than what it
should then you will need to add one screw at the bottom and this will make
you able to completely adjust the height of the beam. I forgot to mention
this in the video… My bad! The projectors are still fine in my car 🙂
