Today I show you how to “fix” the BMW soft close door that won’t operate correctly and makes a grinding noise when you close the door. By pulling the fuse the locking mechanism works like a normal lock without the soft close feature. The 10 amp fuses located next to the one that I pulled in the video are for the other doors, so pull one at a time until you get to the desired door to disable.

What is the procedure for the front passengers seat door ?? I tried your method but it only works for drivers dear door but not for other doors. I have same grinding sound coming but from front passengers door.

Nevermind on my previous question. I found the fuse for my 650i Gran Coupe that made that annoying sound stop. So glad I found this video.
