Jin Lee – Yes it is part of the specs for instillation.
When doing the rear springs, the lower control arm has a metal piece that
runs along and blocks swinging the arm down from the wheel side, I noticed
in these videos that piece is bent to allow the clearance, is this a
problem?

ECS, would you happen to have a specific video for installing the FK street
line-coil over kit on a MKIV?
The spec for the bolt is XXX foot pounds followed by the 90 degree turn. It
is the factory method for installing those bolts.

Just installed my full coil over kit in my driveway with only floor jacks
and hand tools, honestly I could have never done it without this vid, big

Do you know if the F30 335i is roughly the same? Rumor is they are much
more difficult. Very well done video btw, great job and just all around pro!
wow I shouldve watched this before installing megans on my car, I had to
push down on the rear rotors cuz i didnt think about the rear control arms
like that. BTW i needed wheel spacers in the front so ALWAYS have them just
in case cuz u will be rubbing and messing up the inside of the wheel (2
days did a number on mine)

Install of coilovers on the F30 is actually going to be fairly similar. You
should be able to use this video as a general guide on the new F30.
Any idea what kind of grease he used on the front struts?
Whats the purpose of the 90 degrees turning of the bolts for the control
arms after you have torqued them down to factory specs?
The E46 is very similar, this DIY would make a decent guide for the E46.

Torque specs are very similar on the 335i xdrive. They will vary due to
some different sized bolts used. If you search “bmw_torq.pdf” you’ll find a
document on the web which lays out torque specs for all BMW nuts and bolts.
