Everybody loses their mind when talking about working in BMW's, but my E90 335d is one of the easiest vehicles to work on I've ever owned, and that's coming from an LS guy. lol

Yes, I'm super awesome and want to support your videos. (ha ha) Plus I like learning things.

Scott Zimmerman says:

I think that it would be a good idea to actually bench test the new starter before installation. A lot of work to do it all over again if the new starter is bad for some reason.

adrian sims says:

Have you ever worked on a Ecoboost before ?

Mike Lenker says:

Damn, I wish the cowl on my E36 'vert came out that easy! Pulling wipers is a PITA!!

If you have to "remove a ton of stuff to make your life easier", is it really making your life easier? Not a fan of BMWs. Seems like they're waaay over engineered. At least the starter isn't buried under the intake like the Cadillac Northstar. Very informative and well presented. Thanks for sharing.

Great video Bogi! Very detailed! I watched the working from home episode, a couple weeks back and until today it was in the back of my mind, what happened with it? And now I know. I'm not a BMW guy, but i did want to see what what was involved in replacing the starter. I know now I will never attempt it, I'll stick to my Toyota. If it's not a conflict of interest, you really should do more videos like this. I really enjoyed it. Great camera work, a natural in front of it, professional and yet laid back. Thanks Bogi!
