BrabusTKR says:

nothing would change, install will be the same

Azrudi says:

Thanks for the video. The first reply below claims your shocks are dead.
What would change in the video if the shocks were good? Will you then need
to remove the tyre? Will you not be able to compress the shocks by hand to
remove the mounting?

xtr3mezer0 says:

would the RSM’s cause a clunking noise by any chance? I have a clunking
noise at the rear right side of my e36. The previous owner changed the
struts and he put that but washer the wrong way so it caused damage to the
bushing.

xtr3mezer0 says:

also how come those green gaskets look a lot thicker than the ones they
sell now with the shock mount repair kit?

BrabusTKR says:

its not one more bolt, its 200 more dollars haha. I have many reasons for
not replacing the shock mounts at the time of this video. the main one
being i have sport springs i need to put in the car, which require
different size shocks.

Martin O'Byrne says:

Thanks for this video, need to do mine soon.

BrabusTKR says:

yes they can cause that sort of noise. as for the gaskets I dont know what
to tell you, if you are afraid they will leak just use some silicon RTV
sealant

M charles says:

your rear shocks are dead. if they dont extend on there own or even a soft
shock will beat those nice new mounts. one more bolt and the shock gets
replaced too.
