DIY: How to Replace Underhood Insulation

As your car ages, the factory underhood liner may begin to sag or fall apart. This can lead to increased engine noise and heat damage to the paint itself.

Becareful taking them off they have asbestos i think my lungs a lil after accidentally ripping a piece bc the clips i bought werent oem

The original hood insulations is a fire proof material used to smother fire. In case you have a fire.. Aftermarket products are usually just for noise and heat.
