Heres a little DIY on how to install an aux port for you pre. 2003 E46 BMW that has a CD instead of MODE button on your stereo.
link where to buy aux kit:
http://quidzel.com/aux/
Correction: When plugging the aux cable into the back of the radio unit, silver side should face upward, not like show in the video. That was a mistake.
What size drill bit did you use?
can you just do the first part or do you have to buy the chip thing as well?
wich radio build year is this?
Is it the same for all bmws?
will this work on 2001 bmw x5 with business cd and cd changer?
I have a 2001 330i and my truck dosent have the port for the chip please help
What is the chip for? Doesn't it work without it?
Sorry for all the questions. I just bought one but how come you connected your 4 pin with silver side to the left? On the tutorial on quidzel it says facing up
How's it working for you so far ? Any issues? How's the sound also
I have a 2001 e46 330i but not too sure what the head unit year is but it has the cassette rather than a cd changed. Think it'd work the same?
Hey man, where did you get the little chip from???
Do you know what the function of the cable was that you disconnected from the back of the radio? Do you lose a function in place of the aux input?
Can you use the steering wheel controls (track up/down) with this thing installed?
