great video! my 520d won’t start, and i suspect the fuelpump. only problem is, i disconected the tubing to the fuel filter, and when i turn the egnition, there is fuel coming out both tubes. i don’t know if this is i don’t know if this is excess fuel, or that the pump is actually working, and perhaps the pump by the engine is the problem? can you help?

Who wants to bet he wasn’t smoking during this video’s creation? Awesome camera/edit work.

Terabass says:

No. The traction control system can get screwy if you unplug your battery or if your battery was low and you tried starting your car w/ the electronics glitching.. most likely a reset of traction control system w/ a BMW specific diagnostics tool will fix the issue.

Vanush Sirekanyan says:

thanks door the video! i got a question, did your traction control system get wiped out after the fix?

Hi, I recently put a new engine on e36 325tds with new computer box, i still cant get the car start. i have tried the programming the car only cranks. i am not sure if i should check the diesel pump pressure since the car have been not moving for a year. It cranks as if it will start but cannot. Can any one give suggestion please ?

great video!!! i tested mine today…looks like i gotta replace my pump…ordered one and fuel filter too…

Taaplari says:

Thanks. Quality video in all levels.
Great thing is that I have 530i (2001), and at this point (at 0:18 now) structure seems to be very similar, so I assume that process is similar too. There is A LOT of sand, so now just cleaning and buying a tester to proceed. I probably have to use vacuum cleaner first.
Sorry my English.
