is it kool to just drill the existing Clutch Delays oriface out to a large size instead of buying a new part?
To prevent you dumping the clutch. Also, helps burn the hell out of your clutch and drastically reduce clutch life.
reduce driveline warranty claims
Delay valves suck why put them on there in the first place?
*how do I
How do you bleed my clutch hydronic system at the end there?
Do you need a modified valve for 1997 e36 318is or will the thread match?
This is pretty much the same procedure for the e36 as well.
Replaced mine in my 2009 X3 right after I got it. Been driving stick shifts for 40+ years but I could never get used to the delay. The clutch is much more predictable with the punched out valve.
zeee 4 …….. you mean zed4 mate!
afaik the modified cdv is not necessary…. (at least not on a bmw z4)
The flexible hose coupling fits just as well on the steel pipe coupling, so you don’t have to get a modified valve.
AKA “Wear the hell out of your clutch” remove the clutch delay valve all altogether
Get the valve from Zeckhausen, a US-based company…just Google the name. They send the part worldwide, no probs. Well worth doing!
were can i buy this valve?
