thank you.I watched you video before I did the job and it showed me the way
to go.I did not take the frame off with the seat fender and final drive and
wheel with it,I took it apart and put it together piece by piece. It took me
a week to get the parts so I had lots of time to think about the best way
to tackle it.I was lucky.
I agree.
Yes, now downloads are available! (26 June 2013)
downloadable video via PayPal?
I did the job in 20 hours without one glitch or problem.I kicked its ass in
two days made 700 dollars.I had the manhole cover resurfaced.I centered the
clutch disk and left the bolts loose mated the tranny to the engine and
then tighted the pressure plate bolt on the cover Thur the starter
mount.used wire to install throttle cable.I took my time and got it done
quick.Bow to the master you hackers my name is Russell
Hi, I have no experience with the slipper clutch. Unless it corrected the
spline issue I’d see no use for it especially in the low horsepower R1200C
& CL. Thanks, Chris
Hey Russell, The next R1200C that comes into the shop needing a clutch
after having been ridden in inclement weather for many years is all yours 😉
? Did the good doctor take your medication away?
Oh yeah, THANKS CHRIS!
why are you crying about some bolts that don’t come off. Does anyone see
garbageman crying about garbage cans have garbage in them? I don’t think
you research, look abd then understand before you take things apart ever.
That’s why all things have “gone wrong”. Go ahead insult me, but that
doesn’t change anything about you.
@ 0.57 – You could make that into a cartoon or high speed video showing you
putting it together! LOL From day one, I always got a trip out of how BMWs
get “cut” or “stripped” in half to repair the clutch and other things. That
is why the price is so high for these repairs. Other motorcyclists see this
and flip out in disgust, but then realize the engine and drive line design
and realize that’s the only way to do it. I just wish BMW made stronger
clutches, splines, baskets, and transmissions!
I don’t know. I was thinking a DVD. I need to make time to put it all
together. This past week has sucked a few years off of my life span!
