I also took this time to replace the oil filter housing gasket which is prone to leaking around 100k miles, so if you find yourself in this situation you may as well replace it the part is 6 dollars. Good luck brother

Justin Hidalgo says:

I ended up having to remove the entire oil filter housing with the power steering pump still attached. Once it was out of the car and I could get it on a bench I was able to remove them. My friend brought over some hardened steel channel locks which bit right into the heads of the bolts allowing me to break them loose. I would have never been able to get them off while it was in the car the orientation of the bolts was way too tough. Try vice grips or go buy serious channel locks.

Justin,

How did you remove the stripped torx bolts?

Alex K says:

not hard if you have the right tools

I stripped 2 out of the three of those torx bolts. Replaced them with hex head bolts from home depot worked great.
