Hi Zach- I use castrol edge 0w30- I change every 10k miles- my driving is mostly motorways (average trip 25-50miles daily). BMW recommend every 15k (which is evidently so that they sell more cars..), isn’t 7kmiles too little far high grade synthetic oil? Have you seen problems on e46 330d’s from changing oil every 10k miles, not your recommended 7k? Thanks! Chris

Alex Cain says:

Where do you get the crush washer and the o-ring?

jonathan unger says:

I put 6.5 quarts of mobile 1 synthetic 5-20 its very thin. 5-30 or 10-30 is thicker(05 BMW 525i) in my other vehicles I mix 15-40 and 5-40 because 15-40 is so thick I mix in a little 5-40

mochomazo1 says:

is there a sensor i have to replace for a 2006 330xi?

millertimebmw says:

As long as you use fully-synthetic oil you should be able to extend oil change life to about 7,000 miles. I usually make a sticker on the “due date” to change the oil. Good luck- Zach

Not yet, im working on it though !!! :) – Zach

vrupcic says:

Awesome video bro’ thank you so much, but i have a question, for a deeper cleaning, should i pour a little bit of oil with the bottom cap opened, or is it ok to just drain the old oil, pour the new and that’s it?
