I’ve heard for a correct work both microchips should be changed (second is square). Isn’t it?

Does it work with cas4? Or bde/fem only?
I did this chip swap on an aftermarket key fob of the same looking board and everything.
but it didn't work the vehicle. was there any additional syncing that needs to be done? or a certain aftermarket key you used?
Hi, you did a great job.
As my second key was not working (only starting engine by placing it next to the steering wheel) I tried to do the same, bought from aliexpress empty key with the same chip/transponder code and frequency, swapped them well by soldering, but unfortunately the key is only starting engine by placing it next to the steering wheel, keyless go and buttons are not working, do you have any ideas what could went wrong or how to solve this issue?

Did you know that you can self programmed the new key? LoL, just hold the new key next to steering wheel the dots for key and press start button with your brake for 15sec approximately and youre done.
So i only need to switch the microchip and my key will work 100% without coding?
The problem with changing the key is that when you go to the BMW workshop, the key reader they have does not recognize the car or its faults.
what about for e series keys?
Are you just using any M style key and transferring the chip?
Or is this a specific M key that has the same footpattern for the chip?

Did you just remove and solder just the one chip. I noticed there was two chips.
You make it look so easy to do. But trust me that mother isn't easy at all. Chip are so small and the pins are so close to each. Can easily short.
How anyone tried this and succeed with Chinese 868mhz f15 key fobs ? The board looks the same with the video, but it's coloured green.
