Are those high gloss matte black grilles or just matte black?

After you removed the 5 screws under the weather stripping. Did you release
the top snaps first? Or reach behind into the bumpber to release the bottom
snaps?

The first thing that should be done to any BMW is a matte grille and
gettting rid of any orange lights and/or reflectors.
