Couldn’t find any help on replacing the Windshield Cowl on my 2012 BMW 328i (F30), so I decided to make a video while figuring it out. Hope it comes in useful to someone in the future!

Very nice video! This would help a lot of people. My F30 had this cracked when the was just 2 maybe 3 years old. I will find the part and replace it myself!

Hi does the rubber seal round the engine bay go on top of the plastics or tuck down thanks.
want to save money? just cut off that old broken rubber trim across the cowl. Then measure the length of cowl and go to ur local auto parts or ebay and buy the right size windshield trim for it. Come with 3M sticky glue and just stick it in where the old trim was on the cowl and job done. You saved $100 and only paid $10 to $20 for just the whether trim!
I just got my windshield replaced and the passenger side isnt perfectly adhered. They reused the old one obviously cuz its full of salt. Should I get it replaced?
