►The light bulbs and electrical connections within BMW’s taillights and headlights are separate from the light housings. They instead sit in the bulb carrier, a piece known for its propensity to fail. Replacing the bulb carrier on your BMW F30 is likely a guarantee if you own the car for some time, so we’re here to help you fix it. A damaged bulb carrier will prevent one or all of the lights from working in one of your taillights, so there isn’t much of a process to find the root cause.

Once you have your new carrier and plug, you’ll need only a few tools to complete the job. It can be a bit nerve-wracking, considering you’re cutting wires, but luckily, we know how to do it.
