What's the button on the top?
Cool I have a 2014 shift knob from bimmain. Both the shifter and the boot lights up at the same time. It a pretty cool mod though

I was expecting it to operate like the cars that shifter Came in from the factory. It always returns to the center position basically except m/s mode. I have that shifter in my E60 and it always returns to the middle and the button on top puts it in park

The stock prnd light should get covered after this mod with like a msport logo sticker hmmm.
What does the button on the top of the shifter do?
The thumb nail gives me the impression that you are removing the one on there and installing the one you’re holding for some reason.
