very helpful thank you. i was tired of reading video is better thanks

bimmerzone says:

FlyPanda818: yeah, most people do reuse the old one, did you get the emblem
from us? we usually take it to the back, if you need new ones, just email
us your order confirmation numberand we will take care of you.
BBBBRYAN7899: the rims are different sizes, we have carbon fiber ones if
you are interested 🙂

TheLarryBrown says:

This video is laughable. You see how easily he inserted that card under the
emblem at 0:19? Yeah right, just go try that on your own car and you will
see that you can’t insert anything under the emblem like that. The emblem
in this video was pre-loosened and the guy is thus a liar. Prying with a
screwdriver is guaranteed to cause gouges. Ignore this video and keep
searching for a good solution. Search the nylon packing strap method.

ansettnz100 says:

@samsung16k i thought that too!

Singled Out Dad says:

Thumbs up on the video. When I did it, my emblem didn’t come off so
smoothly (not that I really expected it too)…eventually it did, but
definitely be careful when turning the screwdriver as you pry, or else it
will scratch the paint, especially when using a business card or post card
–it is just paper after all. I’m going to have to apply a little touch-up
paint…

bosniahustlax15 says:

is it the same for the mercedes hood ornament?

xavianus says:

Gabriel Sander says:

Thanks for the instructions. Is the emblem made out of plastic?

InvincibleRider says:

Hi, I am looking for instructions on replacing this emblem on BMW X3
backside. This does not look as simple as replacing the from emblems. In
order to grip the emblem the grommets have to be placed from inside the
hatch. Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

bimmerzone says:

Yes, pretty much 🙂

bimmerzone says:

Pretty much the same way…..and you really have to pry it off
slowly…patience is key!

WaSeeM says:

thanks, very useful… emblems can be found at ebay..

benji07 says:

Michael Garza says:

Would you use the same basic method for replacing the emblem on the trunk
as well?

Mike R says:

My emblem snapped off inside the grommets… sigh

rookietgk says:

how do you remove the logo on steering wheel..? do you have any idea..?

htsvisuals says:

Where do you buy those small grommets(rubber inserts)? I just bought a new
emblem and it didn’t come with any.

joseymayra9 says:

THANKS ,MY WIFE REPLACE THE EMBLEM AND IT WAS PERFECT JUST THE WAY YOU
SHOWED IT,,NO DAMAGE TO THE PAINT AND LESS THAN A MINUTE,,

noahprince8 says:

That didn’t work at all for mine… I tried to pry it up and one of the
plastic pieces broke off into the rubber piece. I had to drill into it then
pry it out with a screw driver.

durtysoufcraka says:

9ggen says:
