My yellow oil light just started doing exactly what you described. Did
replacing the sending unit fix your problem?

thanks very much.i take it to a garge and they plug it to the computer and
erase the service engine soon light.they say its a gas leak. so i think its
bcs my gas thank didnt close properly

you should not let the brand name deter you from doing the work, BMW’S are
actually easier to work on than most north american cars

will get a Peake and reset it. Keep posting more vids up I like learning

the other day i noticed when i turned sharp the cv would pop and jerk. i
Tried to turn sharp in reverse just to see if that was the case and it was
the same. Once the cv starts clicking while i’m driving and clicking going
around corners it’s time to change it
Any problems with the cheap sender? I see it for $120 everywhere and in a
couple of places at $29. Any reason why I should go with the expensive one?

oh it didn’t work then yes the peake scanner would work perfectly you can
purchase them off ebay for like 40 bucks plus shipping. How are things down
under isn’t this your winter season ?
No the secondary air relay is located in the fuse box on the driver front
in the engine bay
So the only way to reset the inspection on 1998 BMW e46 is to use that
reset counter that you have??? Where can I get One from?? And ur lightbulb

Thank you so much for all your help, I’ve watched almost every video you
have available for the E46. I have no excuses why it’s taken me this long
to say something. Excellent videos and I laugh everytime. Thank you so

I will have a play around with it has full Oil (up to the full mark on dip
stick which is the second gap, hmm just so confusing ,one of my mates said
it might have too much oil and draining abit might help.ive read on the net
and some people had the same problem .thanks again heaps,will look more
into it.
with the ignition off and the key out, press and hold the left side button
(trip meter reset) on your dashboard, keeping it held down insert the key
and turn to position 1. continue to hold the button, the word test shows up
followed by the word reset on the display, then it will start to flash,
while it is flashing release the button and then press it againfor approx
1/4 second. turn off the ignition key next time you switch it on it will
show the milage to the next service
Hi.. my oil light in the instrument cluster ” not turn on” … when i put
the key , open ignition and the others lights working but the oil light

You will never get all of the oil out when the car is standing like that.
its been over 6 months and it works great still
it hasn’t happen to me yet but if it does i will for sure be making a video
for it. I just realized that in the past few days my right side cv axle is
starting to go so there will be a video on that as well

its a 36mm socket not a 38mm
our summers are very short like around 3 months. I will be posting more
videos for sure once i’m done building the jeep. I’ve never had to repair
the sun roof roof inside cover is it jammed ? or does the sunroof jam and
you can’t open or close it ?

hey i changed the oil filter,oil and oil sensor, as i was driving ten
minutes into my trip, the yellow light came on and didnt go off till a few
seconds after engine off, can the light come on for to much oil also, what
do u think is causing this? ive even cleaned the wiring/plug that goes from
car to oil sensor. thanks mate
