hi, did the AUX ever came up on the display before you install the cable or will it only come up when you finish installing the aux cable?

I don’t think the steering wheel controls didn’t work because the car wasn’t on, on my 05 325i when I have the radio on while the car is off it doesn’t allow me to use steering controls
will work this on my bmw e46 from 2001? i have mode button on radio business cd but when i press it i can see only cd and radio modes..can i activate aux?

Thank you, yeah I actually meant to put an annotation on it, you’re totally right. I noticed that when I was driving earlier.
Btw the volume on the steering wheel does work when you install this your car was probably not on at the time, the only thing is you cant change the songs from the steering wheel.
