Also, the tools that OWC provides are awesome. I’ve been using OWC stuff
for more than 10 years now; I’ve never had a problem.
Edit: interestingly, the sport steering wheel on the e39 has those little
“bolsters”/thumb grips and is pretty thick.

Agree 100% on the stock wheel, i once test drove a 325i and the look and
feel and general crappyness of it put me off which was quite a nice car
actually.

I believe you can use black shoe polish for the cracked leather…. (Google
it!)
