tip # 1 : It would be a better idea to lift the car from the driver’s side
so more oil can drain out.
tip # 2 : have some newspaper or cardboard under your container just in
case you spill oil .
tip # 3: Oil flows better when either oil cap is off or oil filter housing
is open.
tip # 4: It is a good idea to clean inside the oil housing to get the extra
dirty oil out.
Try next time to take off the oil cap
Kills me that people buy these tiny oil drain pans when you can get much
bigger ones for only a little more.
It’s a 1998 328i.
Nice video, but I must say… you can’t jack up your car on one side, and
leave the others. That will cause the oil to stay in one cornwer of the
engine, and you wont get it all out. So, either you let the car stay on all
4 wheels (if you got a low car, you cant of course) or you jack it up on
all 4 jackingpoints so that the car will stay straight
or open the bum let jack down then rejack when oil is drained out arnt you
clever lad haha
Looks like you may have a power steering fluid leak.
nice car… i was wondering if you can helo me to decide… becouse im
looking for a car, and i love this bmw, im looking for this one or for a
m3. but some people and friends told me that ths cars used to have problem
with engine and trans so much… and that the manteinance and parts are too
expensive… i will appreciate your help and response. thanks!!
If you open your oil cap. It will drain faster…. Free tip

You look like 1 of the wet bandit’s from “Home Alone” !!!
