How do you know if you have a Euro spec BMW or U.S.? I used your
troubleshooting advice on the fuel pump relay, bridging 30 to 87, but the
secondary air pump turned on and I didn’t hear anything at the fuel pump.
Are relays in different positions depending on spec?

NitroCharged says:

Thanks to this video I was able to fault find back to a faulty fuel pump.

fuel pump,
main relay,
cranksenser,
camsaftsensor,
spark plugs, etc I was told might have bad DME? due to only will crank
when check engine light comes on 2nd position…
thats when it does come on,

What makes that check engine light come on?

John Mulins says:

Thanks for the vids keep the good work up make more videos im thinking of
installing quad vanos system in mine perhaps you can make a video about
that anyway great vids you the man

Anthony Goss says:

pump do to having the car not run just turn like it did when you was
pushing start button now i also replaced the fuel filter but its not same
length as the other one way smaller but what o’reilly gave me was a
shorter fat one but was suppose to be for my car now the problem i have
once i got it to crank it ran fine but once i cutt it off it wouldnt crank
does same thing again as your push button starting method any suggestions
thanks

MAQABLYPTO says:

dude, you are Aeeee genius, how can I retain you?

mybimmerspace says:

. BMW has many variances for relay locations. What year and model do you
have? is it a U.S. or Euro spec? On some Euro BMW’s the fuel pump relay was
used to power the o2 heater

Eric Roy says:

Thank you, this was a big help, and plenty of useful info

mybimmerspace says:

Thanks, I am doing more. I had to break away from making videos for
personal reasons but I am back and in the process of adding a new vid.

RnRMan13 says:

Thanks a lot! I like your videos, please do more about BMW. You do it nice
and clear. I have an e34 with M50. But M50 is exactly what i’m interested
in.

Marc Wikina says:

what are the symptoms of having a bad fuel pump?

TheJ631 says:

wow that is the cleanest m50 ive ever seen!

MilkThatEmo says:

Hey buddy. Do 325i relays (fuel pump, main, etc) and the fuel pump itself
fit a 318i? They are both ’93.

Justas Markevicius says:

I think this will be helpful i have the same car and there is no power to
the fuel pump, have a question can you actually start and run a car when
fuel pump relay is connected with that bridge as shown in the video ?

1D0N says:

Interesting. As you say some cars may have only 2 relay. Well mine does.
The left and middle one. I don’t have the O2 sensor relay, or it located in
another spot. Do you know why some have only 2?

Minh Nguyen says:

Hey. is the relay for the fuel pump the same as your main?

Gregory Johnson says:

I have a 95 325i sedan (8/95) and it has a white top with a non ridged
tube. I am having an issue with fuel pooling on top of fuel pump and
spilling over. I was wondering if the wrong fuel pump could be my issue. I
was planning on changing the o ring gasket and fixing any hairline cracks
but was wondering if I needed to cap the hole off?

John Matcash says:

Hey i am having trouble, just did swap into new e36 and the motor cranks
but it does not spark and there is no fuel to the lines. please help!!
